Scientific goals

The conference is focused on the formation of social networks while allowing for the confrontation of a variety of approaches and theoretical tools. The conference aims to bring together some of the best scholars working on networks formation in the fields of Theoretical Economics, Economics of Innovation and Knowledge, Theoretical Physics, and Management Strategy. The conference has thus an interdisciplinary character that is consistent with the nature of the topic and its recent evolution. A particular interest (though not exclusive) resides in bringing closer empirical and theoretical approaches.
